About Rebecca Johnson, MS CCC-SLP speech therapist in New Kent VA at Pathway Therapy Specialists

Having a child with a speech, language, and/or feeding disorder can be overwhelming. There are so many views out there about what treatments to try, and what you have to do to help your child grow their skills, that it can feel like you’re being pulled in a million different directions! Where do you even begin?

Let’s start here:  You know your child is beautifully unique. You know they may be struggling in some areas now, but that they absolutely have strengths in other areas. You’re ready to help them in any way you can.

Your child deserves the best – a therapist who will make them feel welcomed and accepted, identify and expertly treat their areas of need using a holistic and family-centered approach, and make sure they are having fun along the way. You’re in the right place.

Hi, I’m Rebecca Johnson, speech-language pathologist and owner of Pathway Therapy Specialists. I’m so glad we have found each other, and I am confident that Pathway Therapy Specialists can help you and your child on this journey.

A bit about me:  I grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia; completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia; and received my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from James Madison University. I’ve worked both in public school and pediatric private practice settings across the state of Virginia as a certified speech-language pathologist. I have been practicing as an SLP since 2011.

I truly enjoy meeting and working with children and their families. If you have questions, please send us an email or call our office. We offer free 20-minute phone consultations to discuss your concerns and to determine how we can help. We can’t wait to hear from you!
